Used Transmissions Nissan Armada RE5R05A

The Nissan Armada is a full sized SUV built on the same platform as Nissan’s large pickup trucks. Made from 2004 until present, it comes with a heavy duty 5 speed automatic transmission. The chassis is a conventional rear wheel drive/four wheel drive setup. GotTransmissions.com sells low mileage used transmissions for Nissan Armada RE5RO5A and the QZ56, which is marketed by Infinity.

We call this a longitudinal setup. Meaning the engine/transmission is located up front, and the rear differential is in the rear of the vehicle, with a drive shaft connecting the two. Hence a north to south engine and transmission combo mounted with the axis of the vehicle.

Since the Armamda is a newer vehicle, it stands to reason that there are excellent resources to tap from, as in, the most quality oriented recycling yards all over the country. One of our strengths is to get your used Nissan Armada transmission to you as fast as it can be arranged once the deal is closed.

The Armada uses a Jatco RE5R05A, which also has a lock up torque converter. It’s a big heavy duty automatic overdrive transmission used in the Titan truck, and Infinity uses it in the CX23, FX35, FX45, G35, M35/35x, Q45 and QX56.

I’m not an historian, but having been in the transmission business for over 30 years, the name Jatco seems to have been around even before that. I know that plenty of car companies use or have used complete Jatco transmissions, like Nissan, or some companies only use parts made by Jatco.

One thing for sure is the company is very reputable and makes excellent products. Which brings me back to buying used transmissions. Most of the vehicles that donate a transmission are low mileage autos that have been recycled because something not related to the transmission was damaged. Where the vehicle may have been totaled out, yet only has 30,000 or 40,000 original miles on it.

This is a prime opportunity to get a good used low mileage transmission for an affordable price with a warranty to prove our confidence and provide you with peace of mind.

Call GotTransmissions.com and get more details about buying a used transmission instead of a more expensive option and receive LKV [like kind value] at surprisingly low everyday prices. Speak with a qualified transmission salesperson, buy a transmission that suits your needs. Save your hard earned money.

Pontiac Vibe Transmissions for Sale

The Pontiac Vibe is called a compact car, I call it a pee-shooter. It’s not very big. Actually it is a joint venture between Toyota and GM, marketed under the Pontiac name. Made from 2003 until 2010. Through two generations the Vibe came with both automatic and manual transmissions. GotTransmissions.com has Pontiac Vibe Transmissions For Sale for any budget and purpose. Give us a call.

The first Generation Vibe was made from 2003 to 2008 and was offered with a 5 speed manual transmission, a 6 speed manual transmission and a 4 speed automatic transmission. This generation Vibe was the the most fuel efficient car in America. An All Wheel Drive [AWD] model was offered with an automatic transmission only.

A side note: The Pontiac Vibe is a front wheel drive car, specifically, it is of the transverse engine/transmission family. Meaning, the engine and transmission are sideways under the hood of the car, or east to west if the north south axis of the car.

Second generation Vibe’s were made from 2009 until the end of 2010, when Pontiac discontinued the model. It came through with a 5 speed manual transmission, a 4 speed automatic transmission and a 5 speed automatic transmission.

A computer controlled traction control system with anti-lock brakes was added for more safety in 2009.

One item of importance is: we call this type of transmission a transaxle because the transmission ring [differential assembly] and pinion drive gears are all in one housing with the transmission. The most common setup for front wheel drive cars.

Since the Vibe is an economy car, when a transmission problem occurs, one which is considered serious, it’s important for said customer to be able to buy a quality product for their car at an affordable price, keeping with the idea of inexpensive car and top quality replacement parts.

Allison 1000 Chevrolet/GMC Duramax Transmissions for Sale

The Allison 1000 automatic transmissions was built in 5 & 6 speed variations, the latter introduced in 2005. Allison 1000 transmissions are built with a strong structure and a are very popular transmissions amongst Chevy and GMC diesel truck owners. 6th gear is only found on 2006- to present Allison 1000 transmissions. 2001-2005 Allison equipped trucks had 5 forward speeds, plus lock up. Interested in the most reliable and affordable Allison 1000 Chevrolet/GMC Duramax Transmissions for Sale? GotTransmissions.com knows exactly what you need.

Basically, General Motors used a documented truck transmission from a company known for manufacturing the best truck automatic transmissions. Big transmissions designed for commercial usage. Simply put, they leapfrogged every other light duty truck manufacturer and challenged them to “match this.”

Allison is a company owned by General Motors, however plenty of other companies use Allison transmissions, especially in large trucks, dump truck, garbage trucks, tour busses and commercial equipment. It is a misnomer to think that all big trucks use manual shift transmissions, nowadays.

The internal components and mechanisms dwarf even the most heavy duty automotive automatic transmissions. If you compare the friction plate [clutch plate] size to any automotive sized transmission, it would be immediately evident at how strong this unit is. Every part inside is heavier and designed to take more usage.

One of the best features of owning a vehicle with said transmission is that the transmission cooling system is also of commercial grade. This allows the automatic transmission fluid to stay cool at normal operating temperatures no matter what load you may be carrying, or how hot it may be outside.

Don’t be fooled either, just because we call it a truck transmission, does not mean it is not as high technology and electronically advanced as any top line luxury performance sedan transmission made in America or Europe either!

Allison 1000 Features:
• External filter eliminates need to change internal filter which mandates a messy transmission pan removal. An excellent idea.
• PTO optional in 3500 GMC/Chevrolet trucks. A handy feature for commercial purposes.
• 2 overdrive gears for better fuel economy. At 60 mph, the 6-speed Allison equipped truck cruises at 1,550 RPM.
• Adaptive learning technology links transmission to engine TCM. Users driver input to calculate & create ideal shift strategies.
• Limp mode locks transmission in 3rd gear if rapid or excess transmission occurs, allowing vehicle to safely brought to service station as soon as possible.
• Tow/Haul mode for safer and improved trailer braking control.
• Cold operation mode that allows the engine to idle better until the engine & transmission have reached proper operating temperature.
• A Lock Up Torque Converter: locks fin gears 3 through 6. Gears 1 and 2 operate in both locked & unlocked torque converter ranges.

GotTransmissions.com has your replacement Allison transmission for your GMC HD Pickup ready for delivery, so you can get back to work. Trust the leader in modern hi technology transmission sales. GotTransmissions.com supplies the finest Toyota Sienna Transmissions for Sale at very affordable prices, considering the price to quality ratio of our products. No body can compete with our replacement transmissions, which makes our transmissions a great value.

The Sienna Van is one of the most popular minivans [it has a lot of room inside to be termed a minivan] on the Market. The Sienna van is also the only minivan in it’s class to offer all wheel drive [also known as four wheel drive]. It was introduced to the American market before the Japanese market, in 1998.

Generation one Sienna Vans made from 1998 to 2003 have a 4 speed automatic overdrive transmissions or more accurately called a transaxle. All sienna vans are front wheel drive setups. To be more exact, it is called a transverse mounting system where the engine and transmissions are sideways [east to west] to the axis of the car.

The transmission used in Gen.1 Sienna vans is the A540E/A541E automatic transmission. This is a four speed automatic overdrive transmission with a lock up torque converter, which in effect gives you an extra highway gear. A transmission that is well documented to be reliable and trusty.

The Gen11 Sienna vans used a 5 speed automatic overdrive transaxle in the front wheel drive models called a U151E, and in the all wheel drive models used a unit called the U151F. Both units have 5 forward speed and a lock up torque converter. The gear shift was moved to the center seat console in Gen.11 models.

The Third Generation Sienna came out in 2011 and uses a six speed front wheel drive transmission. Essentially the same design as prior Sienna van transmissions with an extra highway gear for more fuel mileage. Sienna vans are not known for great fuel mileage.

Chevrolet Avalanche Transmissions for Sale

The Chevrolet Avalanche has been in production since 2001. Known as a convertible [meaning it can be converted from a] truck to a 4 door passenger vehicle in a matter of minutes. Only 2 transmissions have been offered, both are automatic transmissions, one is a 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission and the other is a 6 speed automatic transmission. Both transmissions use a lock up torque converter. GotTransmissions.com has both Chevrolet Avalanche Transmissions for sale at very affordable prices.

The 4 speed automatic is called a 4L80E upgraded, which is part T400 [GM’s original heavy duty 3 speed automatic transmission] and has an overdrive section on the front. It uses an aluminum case which is completely different than it’s predecessor. The E stands for electronic.

This is a rear wheel drive transmission, or longitudinal mounted engine transmission setup. Meaning the engine and transmission are in the front, and the differential is in the rear, using a drive-shaft to connect them.

It uses a sophisticated electronic system combining the input signals from sensors that track engine rpms [revolutions per minute] and road speed to decide when to shift. Using a lock up torque converter, it is in essence like having another forward gear, making 5 forward speeds. It is one heck of a heavy duty transmission, well suited to any type of duties.

The 6 speed automatic transmission is made by Allison Transmissions, which is division of General Motors that manufactures truck transmissions. Called the Allison 1000, it has a total of 6 forward speeds and a lock up torque converter, thus having 7 forward gears. Staggering to say the least.

Capable of handling the most difficult and torturous conditions, it is an overkill of sorts. Which in my opinion is great. Capable of handling around 625 pounds of torque, unless something unexpected occurred like a a bad fluid leak causing a failure, this may be the strongest transmission offered in a light duty vehicle in the world.

The original Allison 1000 had 5 forward speeds, with a 6th speed added in 2006. It allows for more control in situations where a big heavy load is being carried and more control is needed and safer. Very much like the way heavy duty truck transmissions operate.

The majority of our customers are transmission repair shops. We have proven over the years to supply ultra reliable transmissions at reasonable prices. It’s important to note that we sell to any qualified consumer. If you are searching for a replacement transmission for a Chevrolet Avalanche, give one of our professionals a call.

It is our pleasure to spend the necessary amount of time educating you so you choose the best replacement transmission for your situation. Call GotTransmissions.com now for a free price quote. Find out why our transmissions build peace of mind and confidence.

A larger lineup of transmissions was offered in the 3rd and 4th generation Altima. The Altima is a front wheel drive car. It uses a transverse mounted engine and transmission setup. This means the engine and transmission run east to west of the axis of the car, or sideways. Instead of a drive-shaft going to a rear differential, it uses 2 short axles that go to the front drive wheels.

Jatco is the main supplier of transmissions for Nissan. An idea of the technical names for Altima automatic transmissions are as such;
1. RL4F01A — 4-speed transaxle — 4-speed light/medium duty [aka Mazda N4A-EL].

2. RE4F02A/RL4F02A — 4-speed transaxle.

3. RE4F04A/RE4F04V.

4. JF404E — 4-speed ultra-light compact; used in the Nissan Altima, Nissan Quest, Nissan X-Trail.

5. CVT JR006E transaxle.

6. Hybrid drive transmission. First introduced in 2007 and continuing production through the 2011 model year, the Altima’s hybrid-drive system is designed by Toyota’s hybrid technology department.

In Brief, electric continuously variable transmission (ECVT) modes, as the system is commonly referred to is a 2-mode hybrid transmission. However, the sophisticated fuel-saving system also incorporates four fixed gear ratios for high efficiency and power-handling capabilities. During the two ECVT modes and four fixed gear operations, the hybrid system can use the electric motors for boosting and regenerative braking.

The result is new hybrid technology that provides superior fuel economy, performance and load carrying capability.

Ford Fusion Transmissions for Sale

The Ford Fusion does not use a Ford transmission, technically speaking. Because the Fusion uses the CD# platform, it is the same chassis as the Edge, Mazda 6, Lincoln MKX and a few more Mazda’s. It is no surprise,t once you start to search for Ford Fusion Transmissions for Sale. GotTransmissions.com is one of the leading transmission suppliers and would be irresponsible not to mention that fact.

The first generation Ford fusion used 3 separate transmissions. Made from 2006 to 2009.
A. 5-speed Mazda G5M manual
B. 5-speed Mazda FNR5 automatic
C. 6-speed Aisin TF-80 automatic

In 2010 the Second Generation Fusion was introduced. Added the lineup of transmissions was a slate of 6 speed automatic transmissions and manual transmissions.

Toyota Yaris Transmissions for Sale

The Toyota Yaris is a very simple car, that is part of it’s success. I’m a big fan of simple. The less options and high technology features are often well suited to individuals like me who like things that are not so complicated. Our lineup of Toyota Yaris Transmissions for Sale is simple to figure out as well, just give GotTransmissions.com a call.

The Generation1 Yaris, know as model XP10, with the 1.3-liter 2NZ-FE engine came with a standard five-speed manual transmission and optional four-speed automatic only. For those interested in a replacement generation one Yaris transmission the choices are quite simple. Do you need a rebuilt transmission or a used JDM transmission?

The Second Generation Yaris was not much more exiting when it comes to transmission choices. Excitement is overrated in the transmission business. We enjoy the fact that we can get right to the heart of your issues and provoke a simple solution.

The [Gen 2] model XP90 hit the US in 2008. This Yaris comes standard with the 1.5 liter VVT-i engine producing 106 hp [horsepower] and a five-speed manual transmission C54, the four-speed automatic U340E being optional.

Generation 3 Yaris, model XP130, is available with a 5 speed manual transmission and a CVT automatic transmission only. Keeping with the ”simple” theme, Toyota has been successful with this idea and is sticking with it.

A side note on the Yaris automatic transmission. Called a CVT: continuously variable transmission: a CVT is a transmission is a specific and simple design, it has the ability to change gears or ratios seamlessly through an infinite number of gear ratios. CVT’s are becoming the standard automatic transmission type for many mini cars.

My advise for those in need of a transmission for any year Yaris is to call GotTransmissions.com and speak with a trained professional about your problem and monetary limits. We can outfit you with a transmission that is in your best interests. Call now.
