CVI is a measurement of how much transmission fluid enters a clutch pack to make it operate, if the number is to big or to small, or out of range (OR), it means the clutch pack is damaged.
A high or low CVI number on any clutch pack means that the transmission has an internal problem. My neighbor has approved a removal and dis-assembly, which is called an RDI. RDI is an acronym for remove, dismantle, inspect.
Once the transmission is removed, I will tear it down, clean it up like I was preparing for brain surgery and inspect the components for damage. I am going to document the whole process with pictures and present them to you as I go.
